Captivate Events through the Artistry of Live Painting
Live Event Painting adds a unique touch to your festive celebration, creating an unforgettable memory in the form of a priceless artwork. With a deep passion for painting and connecting with people, it's a perfect fit for me! I would be honored to paint your wedding, crafting a lifelong piece of art.
How it works:
Pre-Arrival:
We will discuss what size and paint style you’d like for your painting. I work in both acrylic and watercolor paint medium. Acrylic is completed on a ready-to-hang canvas, whereas watercolor is finished on archival paper, which will need a frame upon completion. Then, I will schedule a time to chat with you about what scene you envision for your painting. For weddings, typically the ceremony or the first dance are requested. I am open to any special requests that might make the painting more unique to you. Finally, I will send a live painting contract to look over and sign and ask for a 50% non-refundable deposit of total cost to ensure your date.
At the Event:
I will arrive approximately 2 hours before your event takes place to set up and begin laying in the background and composition. This also gives me a feel for the atmosphere and event party which helps when I’m painting. I then will paint the requested moment and give myself a total of 5 to 8 hours of painting time. The goal of my paintings is to be rich in colors, composition, and quality. I use materials that are made to last and visually delight. If I’m not able to finish on-site, I will take the painting back to my studio to complete finishing touches. Additional charge will be added for shipping if not able to meet/pick up.
